Watermeter and Homeseer

Post by vic1743 »

Hello,

Can anyone help me in finding a way of measuring water consumption at my house ?

I have a Altair Sappel French made watermeter. I have a HS 2.4.0.11

Thanks

If this meter has a dry contact or a possibility to add such a contact ( for example http://www.planete-domotique.com/compte ... lsion.html ) you can use the RFXMeter + RFXPulse http://www.rfxcom.com/sensors.htm#70095

Hello friend,

thanks for the info. I think i will buy this watermeter as the one i have is located about 100metres away from my house.. So i will add a second watermeter at the main water inlet..

Do you have an idea of how homeseer can display the information like stats or events, trigger ? There is currently no plugin available from homeseer for water meter reading.. Is it done using scripts or any database server ?

thanks very much for your help

The RFXCOM plug-in is available in the Homeseer updater.
A Charts program (also for the water meter) is available http://www.jphuddlestone.co.uk/rfxcharts/rfxcharts1.htm
