Düwi spare parts?

Does anyone know where to get new support rings (the part in the picture) for Düwi modules? I have a few of them, and a couple of those are somehow smaller than the others, because the rocker (everluxe) comes loose really easily.

You might want to ask TANE (from hashop.nl)...

You dan fix this!
Put a piece of ducktape over both holes.

The flipper will work and wont fall off. I had the same, as for allmost everything ducktape saves the day! ;-)

that sounds great for secondhand stuff, but it's dissapointing to make new duwi dimmers work as it should with ductape!

True, in fact... I used it for 2nd hand stuff. But i also read duwi replaces these plates under warranty? Maybe you can try it at the reseller?

Thanks! This actually works pretty well . Since I only had two faulty ones from eight, I think I'll settle for this fix.

I had the same problem, Tane send me a manual to fix the problem by cutting small parts of the plastic covers which are included.
This works fine but takes a lot of time if you have to do a lot of switches.

So I let cut selfadhesive stickers complete with holes. This works perfect, and is easy to apply, let a few hrs on before attachting the paddle.
If you send me an email info@optimaalgemak.nl of send me a PB I can send you some as well.

There is no solution from Duwi for this problem.
All the new modules have still the same problem.
The workaround works well. this will cost you few minutes.
Other option is go for the Trend Line. this one will fit better.

Is this still an issue?
A friend of mine has asked me to help him choosing the right domotica products for his new home, and I don't want to point him in the direction of Düwi and/or Zwave.me when this issue still persists.
A few modules I purchased myself not to long ago have this issue and I find it really irritating, and rather ridiculous that Düwi is not doing anything about it.

thanks…

Martijn.

Hi,

Does this problem only apply for dimmers or also for the zwave.me Duwi Everluxe switches?
My electrician is trying to figure out how to put pearl-white paddles on the BJ variant of the Zwave.me switches but will probably not succeed (according to other posts by Tane we need paint to do just that  )
So for now it seems we are back to Duwi Everluxe. We only need four dimmers so a workaround is not to much hazzle. If we need workaround for all switches to, we need to rethink.

appreciate your replies

I have this problem with all duwi devices. Dimmer and switch. The tape solution works though. Quite good actually

Thanks for the reply. Does anyone have experience with the other option mentioned by Tane. Using Trendline because these paddles have a better fit?
An out of the box solution seems better than a duct tape solution
